ABOUT US

It’s only fitting that The PW Family Tavern is situated inside a building that looks like a house. Exuding a friendly, welcoming atmosphere akin to hanging out a friend’s home, we serve up good food and good times. 


Just like when cooking at home, our menu changes daily. So you never know exactly what’s on the menu…but you can be sure it will be homemade and scrumptious. 


And in the summer and fall, we smoke ribs, brisket, chicken or fish outside in our smoker and serve a hearty portion of side dishes to complement the BBQ fare. Plus, we have a wood-fired pizza oven and pig roaster in the backyard for more dining options.

Stop in for some grub or just a drink, listen to live music on the weekends, play cornhole or keno and have some fun.

EVENTS/ENTERTAINMENT:

There is always something happening at the Tavern! We have a large stage in our Pavilion to host live music on the weekends, along with a 139-inch projection screen to watch sporting events and cornhole boards to partake in some fun competition. And inside, we have a smaller stage for musical entertainment, along with Keno and other betting games.

NEW PAVILLION COMING

More than doubling the space inside the Tavern, the 35-by-65-foot enclosed pavilion is the place to be. With a 139-inch projection screen, large stage for live music, cornhole boards and picnic tables, it is party central! Clad in reclaimed barnwood inside and logs outside, the enclosed pavilion is heated and in warmer months two sides open up to let a cool breeze in.

Whether you want a burger or wings, or looking for comfort food, such as spaghetti or stuffed cabbage, we are always cooking up something in our kitchen. And with a smoker, wood-fired pizza oven and pig roaster, more dining options abound outdoors. At the center of the Tavern is a three-sided bar with six beers on tap along with more beer selections, seltzers, wine and liquor—and the Pavilion out back, featuring its own bar, extends the fun outdoors.



Dine inside where the menu changes daily from Tuesday through Sunday year-round, and from April to October (weather permitting) enjoy smoked meats cooked outside in the giant smoker in the parking lot, along with side dishes such as rice and beans, potatoes and peppers, corn on the cob and Mexican street corn. 

We also rent our Pavilion for parties and can cater off-site events.

FAQS

  • Do you serve food all day long?

    No, we open at 8 a.m. on weekends and 9 a.m. on weekdays, but do not serve breakfast. We start cooking lunch at noon and serve food until 6 p.m.

  • Do you have outdoor dining?

    Yes, we have a dozen picnic tables in our enclosed Pavilion in back of the Tavern, along with more tables outside. We have a smoker in our parking lot for cooking ribs, brisket, chicken and fish, along with a wood-fired pizza oven and pig roaster for more dining options during the spring, summer and fall. 

  • Do you have live music?

    Yes, we have live music on select weekends in our Tavern, plus a large stage in our Pavilion that hosts bands throughout the year. 

  • Can you play cornhole year-round?

    Yes, we have cornhole boards in our heated, enclosed pavilion to play anytime, and we host blind-draw cornhole tournaments throughout the year.

  • Do you have a full bar?

    Yes, we have six beers on tap, plus additional beer selections, seltzers, wine and liquor.
